well i finally got my bike running today, rode it all afternoon. no problems. now it seems the clutch is locked up. At first i thought the motor seized but i took it all apart and nothing wrong. Ive adjusted the clutch plate and ball bearing arm thing so its not that. The bike will roll about a foot or two then the rear wheel will lock up, with or without the clutch. Could it be my camshaft? any help would be appreciated.

Do you have coaster brakes? My original coaster brake kept making my wheel lock up, but it was old, and I got a newer wheel w/coaster brake and havnt had any problems since.

also have you checked the chain for broken/bent links?

have you opened anything up?
you could have something stuck in one of the gears on the clutch side

well never mind folks and thanks for the input i figured it out. one of the bolts on my pirate cycles hub adapter came loose and was hitting the coaster brake arm. ill put it back together tomorrow and see how it runs. thanks for the quick replays anyway.
