Has anyone experimented with the Kubota tracror dynamo? It's only 3" in diameter and about 2" deep.

The belt pulley and the smooth round outer housing are one piece and rotate togetger.

One could use this as fricton driven, along with a small tympanium regulator and a 4 AH sealed battery and have a simple, reliable 12 v 10 a electrical system.

The small batterys don't like high charging amps when severly discharged, but would work fine with this system if the batt is near fully charged before being used.

I have one with a propeller mounted on it to use on my experimental plane for a wind driven charging system,as the old Continental engine has no generator.

I'll take a pic of it to post in a few hrs.
