Has a drastically marked down price like from $649 to $299? Such as in Grubee SkyHawk 4G T-Belt Drive 49cc Gas Bike Motor Kit from GasBike.net?

Should I just suspect they're trying to get rid of an older, less popular model from their inventory?

Should I suspect the motor that they're trying to sell is a lemon?

Should I suspect the motor has been previously returned item?

What should I suspect?
The same kit currently sells for $419 which INCLUDES SHIPPING
Complete Rear Mount Engine Kit - $419.99

Thank you for that reference, but that doesn't answer the question.
The price never was $649, its called hyperbole or lying, take your pick.

Do you have a bike that needs a rear mount?
An inframe kit is the way to go.

Yes, it is not a very popular kit.

That rear mount kit is not a good design, very top heavy and clunky,

I wouldn't buy one and I also would not recommend Gasbike for providing
warranty after the sale.

I get all my engines and transmissions for my bikes from staton, his products are made in the usa and he knows his stuff. It might be a little more $ but you get what you pay for.
