I'm wondering if DAX bought out BMP? He's been awfully quiet plus he claims his FD kits are now USA made. Hmmmmmmmmmm.......if he did I think its a plus for the hobby.

WOW!!! Yet another dubious rumor that has absolutely no evidence.

James the owner of BMP would NEVER sell his company to DAX, trust me.
It would also be a negative as another FD company competing in
the market is a good thing.

Dax was using a few USA suppliers for some of his friction kit parts
a long time ago before BMP shut down.

PS: Did you notice that my name here BiMoPed has BMP in it? Hmmm
mmmmmmmmmm.......LOL and I do talk about BMP a lot!

Hi All,

(I am a loyal owner of the new BMP kit btw.)

Sorry for the following rant, but i'm a little bit annoyed at the new owners of BMP.

Why?
a. no contact info.
b. the website stated for about 6 weeks: "transferring ownership -kits and parts available late June.
c. Now as of the last week in June, the website states:

"ATTENTION

BMP IS IN THE PROCESS OF ACQUIRING NEW INVENTORY.
KITS AND PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE NEAR FUTURE."

c. I feel like I/ we are getting strung along.

To the new owners of BMP:
Can you kindly tell me/ us the date that you expect to be in business again?

Thank you.

You are right... A normal person could have transferred ownership over and be in business in a few weeks, here, it's taking forever.
To me, it looks kinda lackadaisical... Hopefully this is not an indication of the atitudes of the new owner(s).

Give them a chance their probably getting all their ducks in a row. Maybe they had to move to a different state, or get financing with manufacturers all lined up with the bank[?] etc.
