coil blowouts

what i would like to know is, if i have my lights and horn grounded using the bike frame could this be causing the coils to go out ,,,like when im turning from the roadway i signal and break light , could this send some kind of juice in to the coil? thanks for any replys

Unless you're trying to power the lights from the engine magneto, no, simply using the frame as base ground will in no way compromise the ignition system.

ok, thanks 2door, i was'nt sure i thought the spark had only one place to land, in the jug, so i get a couple of coils next week and try again, lol

You haven't said what engine you are having ignition problems with. If you are seeing magneto or ignition module failures there might be a problem we can help you with. Is this a Chinese 2 stroke we're dealing with?
