Here's a youtube with the missus riding it on the Pismo beach pier. We like it because it's dead quiet, can go ~14 miles with the 2 of us aboard, and ~22 miles with just the one of us. The 2 speed hub can get us up hills. It twists almost 35 n.m (good thrust thanks to the 16" wheel it's laced to) even though it powers to only ~500 watts. Had to replace the Chinese spokes with quality high strength US, but otherwise, lots of fun.

Thx Dave31. I think it's a combination of the improved overall efficiency from the 2 speed hub, the high pressure tires, the 720 w*h battery, our low profile, and the fact that it's no speed demon. 13-14 m/h with 2 aboard, maybe 15 m/h alone. Speed eats up w*h.
