Hi,
I just bought a kit and got an old Schwinn Cruiser Supreme 5 speed. When I place the engine in the frame the cranks hit it, so I had a longer bottom bracket put in, but the cranks still hit it. In order for the cranks to not hit the engine, it needs to be mounted higher on the front bar or more in the middle of the frame. this would mean i would have a good sized distance between the front and the back mounts. I don't know what to use to cover the distance and how to attach it. Hope this makes sense.

Thanks
Ryan

i would try and cover only one distance i would get a universal front mount from sick bike parts and then get a alum block for the back then put the rear mount on the end with extended mounting bolts.

i too had to mount my engine higher,i used 2 rear mounts and a metal bracket for the front that i had laying around. my peddals clear my wide dualstart engine with dual clutches.
my stock muffler also clears the frame and peddals. the bike is a schwinn del mar cruiser.
