I was curious as to what the daily riders are getting for fuel milage/consumption.
I ride daily, to/from work, store, groceries, etc.
But I think I'm going thru too much fuel, for the distances I've been going.

What are you getting??

I fill my 66 cc china girl with a funnel that holds one quart. But I don't fill it up to 32 oz, of course. I fill it to about 28 oz. That 28 oz carries me 24 miles. (To and from work. So it's a pretty reliable measure.)

So that comes to about 120 mpg.

In metric units I'm gonna call it 50 km/liter. But that's a pretty rough estimate. I didn't even do the math on paper.

short trips of under 4 miles will use about twice the fuel as a warmed up motor will use - uphill trips can take 3 times the fuel

letting motor warm for a bit at idle, will save fuel

yeah, I'm in a canyon with hills like walls - when I build a new motor, I can't get up any of them till I've gone around the block for 20 or 30 miles : (
