How to Properly Clean Your Chain Part 1

thats alot of work man. isint it easyer to just buy a bran new chain

I've been clinically diagnosed as ADD/OCD and even I wouldn't do that to a chain!

I usually replace my chains before they get dirty enough to warrant cleaning lol

They're (410) pretty worn out by 500 miles. Just switched to Halflink chain, and so far I like the results!

Right up there with Real Man bike saddles!

So how does the master link work on one of those chains?
I like the look!

No master link, they have no place on a shift-kit drivetrain IMO That and/or master links usually cause oscillations from my XP

The halflink chain is suited to smaller sprockets. a 4-stroke SBP kit has a 11->17 inner and 10->48 outer chain. Most NVH is gone from my drivetrain since the switch!

I press the chain pin on the bike. It's a PITA I have to do every 400-700 miles, but sprockets last longer

No mention of what type of cleaner, rinsing agent or chain lube. Come on you can do better.

I've been told coca cola dissolves rust. I think I will do that and soak my chain in cola.....
