Ive got 1 MSR 500ml tank and 3 1000ml tanks i have a frame water bottle mount for the 500ml--hope nobody tries to give me a drink--but its red--the other bottles go in my backpack if its my 4 stroke or on my backpack if its my Morini.
I know it's an old thread but just in case you have not found it yet. A 1 gallon gas tank that looks just like the one the china kits comes with (other than it's alot bigger) can be found at pistonbikes(dot)com for 50 bucks.
Just keep in mind a big gas tank could be a limiting factor if it interferes with peddling. One of the unusual things about a MB is it can be driven by the motor or peddled. There can be circumstances where peddling is more desirable, such as riding a bike trail, or riding down a sidewalk. If you get in a situation where you need to stand up to peddle a big tank on the crossbar will be very annoying.I know it's an old thread but just in case you have not found it yet. I only know that as I have come across one of these MB's on craigslist and started doing some research. I am now convinced I can build a better bike for MUCH less than the guy was advertising thanks to the info I have found on this thread.
After recovering from the holidays I will post up some pics of my first build that I plan to do!
