So I spent 4 days helping a friend put together two bike kits for his son and him. The following days found him tightening various bolts he thought needed tighting, causing him to strip the threads from the block. He's not what I would call mechanicly inclined and has given up on both bikes, dispite my help and encouragement, so he wants to sell them, both. One is on a Gary Fisher, looks and runs great! but he stripped the bolt out of the rear engine mount bracket. The other is a triple triangle. He stripped the exaust manifold stud on one side, other than that it also runs very well. he wants 150.00 dollars EACH CDN. I told him the bikes are worth more, but he just wants to recover some money and cut his losses.
