I placed an pay pal order off of Jims' web site back around 10/15/09. Time has
paitently went by and around 11/25/09, I called Jim to find out the situation of
my order. Now it is 01/23/10 and I have been trying to contact Jim about my order.
The telephone anwsering machine takes a message. I tried normal telephone sending
message about contacting me about my order but no one replies. I realize he is a busy
man, but something has gone terribly wrong with his buisness system.

Charged you must be calling the wrong number. Karen always returns missed calls. Send me a PM

jim do you still sell parts for the bikes
Just found out that Jim is making custom sprocket adapters again.

Yes, that means that you can get a Manic Mechanic sprocket
adapter made to fit your 36 spoke hub if it measures between
0.900" and 1.770"

Creative Engineering has blanks on the shelf right now ready to
customize to your hub and you can order here.
CUSTOM ADAPTERS

Only $45.00 with USPS Priority Shipping which includes a tracking
number and should not take more than 2 to 3 days to be delivered.

Jim is still selling standard sprocket adapter sizes through Pirate Cycles
and Piston Bikes which will be in stock soon.

You may ask why the change? Will Jim just got another CNC and a
few more employees so he can make your custom adapter and ship
the same day if the order is received early enough, seriously.

Anyway I am excited because the wheels I like to use are not in the
standard available sizes as I don't use coaster brakes and prefer multi
speed hubs.
Order now and get a MM adapter by the weekend! LOL

Competition is a good thing.

Yes, this is good news. Do you know if this would work with a 48 spoke wheel? 48 is divisible by 3 so "in theory" it should work...

I'm like 99% sure I'll go with a FD, but still open to other options.
Dont know if I made mention, but I have the BMP kit, set up as FD. I also bought the chain and belt drive parts option.

I might change up my setup to a belt drive transmission/ clutch and chain drive, with MM or sporscarpat clamshell sprocket adapter.

:)

Right, I'm interested in knowing if this might be an option for my 48 spoke wheel as well. ;)

The Manic Mechanic sprocket adapter will only work with
a 36 spoke wheel.

The sprocket adapters are for wheels that have 36 spokes total...count the spokes on one side of the wheel...you should have 18.

We have made custom adapters for 32 spoke wheels in the past...for now we are set-up to quickly produce our standard 36 spoke adapter. If the demand is there, we will start producing the 4 post adapters for 32 spoke wheels
