I don't think the chaint "tentioner" I made can withstand the power
I'm Looking into a motorcycle inpired chain guide
Any recommendations thanks

Where cattle outnumber people 3 to 1.
brec- I don't know if it'll work for your application, but I don't use any type of tensioner or guide. It takes some tinkering to get it just right, but then you have one less component to worry about... just a thought.
Good luck!

Wouldn't last 5 minutes mounted like that. Too much torque on the bolt from too long an arm.
You want something more like a motorcycle design with delrin slider plates or a heavy-duty roller and mount. A Morini is substantially more powerful than a chinadoll.
Something like this:

bet ya a dollar that the hardened alloy and uber hard rubber roller with the sealed bearings will hold up substantially longer than 5-minutes. as a simple tensioner, it will eat a morini for lunch... Unless you are silly enough to run the power side of the chain over it, that sucker will last indefinitely. The pulling side of the chain with all the radical power shouldn't be affecting the 'tensioner'. The arm is more than 1/4 inch thick and setup gets me past 40 mph :)
