FYI

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 212cc Predator 212cc on sale for $99.00. I looked on the harbor Freight website for info, but they do not sell the California model anymore. Possibility that Harbor Freight may not sell the 212cc in California in the future?

I think CulverCityClassic tipped them off;)

I purchased 25 of those motors @ 50.00 each some time ago and just set on them. I also purchased a pallet of r-22 refrigerant at 100.00 per 30# jug, it's now 300.00 per jug. I do sometimes make some wise moves but not often.

Don't forget to use a 20% off coupon, it cab be used with the $99.99 price since that's a sale not another coupon.

I'm really more interested in picking up some more 99cc predators but for $80 for the 212cc it's too hard to resist getting one for some future project.
Looks like the 99cc is on sale too - $89.99

It says on the website that the 212 engine is part of the parking lot sale this weekend, which they do not allow coupons for? Let me know if this is not the case.

Right under "Save up to 85%"

Atom- I didn't notice that coupons could not be used on the parking lot sale items. I didn't try to use one on the 212cc engine but it's also sale priced at $109 separate of the weekend sale so you should be able to use the 20% off against that price. I picked up 2- 99cc engines cheap.
While I was there I saw they sell the predator 79cc again, it was $109 so I'll try one out when it's on sale cheaper.

So the 212cc engine is now $119.99 on the HF website.

Can we assume that since that is a sale price, that the 20% off coupon can be applied to this purchase? If so, that brings the price down to a cool $82.

Looking at CoolCruiser's post, makes me think I should wait a little while to see if the sale price will drop to where it was before (109).

Your calculator is broken, it's $96 now after the 20% off. That's only $8 more than if you wait until it's 110. If you're ready to build your bike buy it now, if not wait. They are always changing the price.

Dangit, trying to do too many things at once.... I have a 79cc that I am working with now, so I am eyeing an engine purchase for a future build. Waiting for the right time to pounce, but not sure is a 212 or 99 is in my future?
