clutch problems!help please

I have a 48cc gt2b grubee sky hawk.I'm having cable lever problem its real hard to squeeze ,but when the cable is disconnected to the clutch arm it's easy no binding at all its some where in side the clutch.So please help me resolve this I'm lost. thanks.

If the clutch actuates normaly by moving the lever on the engine, it sounds like the problem is with the cable. Check for kinks or tight bends in the cable assembly

There is a tutorial here on how to adjust the internal clutch spring tension by removing the clutch cable stop to gain access to the internal nut,and using a punch to hold the internal nut while rolling the bike forward.
