Wheelchairs have 4 wheels, so in which category does wheelchairs fall? Tell 'em you're handicapped... financially handicapped that is...that 4th wheel will cause hassles
Me too. That would make one cool summer ride. A strong 4 stroke with a shift kit to use the gears and...oh, too cool. Now this is what I would motorize...
PPV, Three (3) Wheel Recumbent Trike, Alternative Transportation, Velomobile
Im pretty familiar with the bluffs along Iowa, Minn., and Wis.. The smallest motor thats going to get you up those things in a surrey is at least a decent size motorcycle motor. Im talkin at least 250cc.Hi
Stephen from Iowa. I too am looking to motorized a surrey. Does anyone have an idea what kind of engine I would need to buy. I'm looking to use it as a pedicab and potentially could have 6 people or 1000 lbs in the surrey. Also I live along the Mississippi and have 7-9 degrees bluffs to climb up and down. Thus power and gearing are probably going to be my biggest problem. Any ideas?
Thanks,
