If your clutch works, but the pucks (they look like mini brakepads) are worn down, the repair is cheap and requires no unusual tools.
Beyond that, it's probably to better to get a new motor.
Maybe you can give us more details.
I thought I had a bad clutch, but after some disassembly, I found a trashed bearing on the shaft behind the sprocket was the problem and it was a cheap fix.
