i have a 99cc and i fired it up after taking outa the box, when i tore it down to port and mill the head gasket did not come off in one piece. i ordered one from agk, super fast shipping (ordered thursday night, came saturday morning) but a $10 part plus $10 shipping every time i take it apart is ridiculous. i was thinking maybe graphite powder or some kind of grease to make it come off easily?

I would just buy a tube of permatex ultra copper from ace hardware and use that every time. I have used it for head and exhaust gaskets on gopeds, lawnmowers, 2 and 4 stroke motorbikes, and many other things. It also barely adds any thickness unlike a paper or metal gasket, so you will have slightly higher compression as well.

This is it, but ace carries it as well: http://www.amazon.com/Permatex-81878-Maximum-Temperature-Silicone/dp/B0002UEOPA
