Just cut the Worksman's frame today and welded on a new extended upper bar (actually my cuz is doin g most of the work, am standing around making supportive noises, will work on the hoop frame tomorrow. This is going to be a 5" extended bike, unlike the Kingsbury husky previously made that did not have an extended frame. I thought about extending the frame of the husky but it is popular as is, so why bother. This new one will be a 1909-10ish Indian (sort of).
I did swap out the springer fork on my Kingsbury special husky frame and put on a monark with some difficulty. Now the dang front fender won't fit. Is there a fender out there for the monark forks or am I just going to have to butcher the one one I have? The fender fit well with the springer.. Not a true boardtracker so I am using fenders.
