I've ridden my MB for 2 years now thinking things couldn't get any better. Boy was I wrong! Finally got a custom chain tensioner made and it makes all the difference in the world. What a smooth ride now, not to mention a lot quieter. Had this one milled out of alum. at work.dance1

Glad it's working for you. Just curious if you gave any thought to using a sprocket vs. that pulley you got on there now?

That is actually a hard rubber roller with a needle bearing pressed into it. we turned a groove in the center of the roller wheel to guide the chain. I thought about a sprocket, and may try one to see what the difference may be.
