HD lightening CDI issues!

Ok my motorized bicycle was running fine with the stock cdi and i received the preformance HD lightening cdi for christmas and i can't keep it running. Am i needed to re-jet because it has a different timing or should i just be plug and play?
I would normally do a plug chop but i cant keep it running longer than 10 secs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

I just tried that? it starts but then cuts out. As of right now i'm going to try to jet down a little to see if it was too rich. but i runs fine with the stock cdi

If it's dying w the stock cdi the new one is most likely fine. Check the carb 1st could be water in bowl for all we know. Or it could be restricted fuel flow. Disconnect the kill switch as well

Everything is ok. I've been chatting w/ Fred and i'm going re-trace my steps back from the beginning then i'll look more into tuning the cdi. Thanks guys!
