When fate has your number there isn't much you can do. Unfortunate accident, for sure.

Just curious about the camera angle however. Who was videoing from that first shot of the bike coming up between traffic? It looks almost staged but I'm sure it wasn't.

It sucks that he died, but it was no one's fault but his own. He missed the bright, blinking red 3rd brake light of the car in front of him while splitting lanes in bad weather next to a dump truck, and paid the price.

I couldn't tell if it's fake or real. It looks real though... yowser.

In Brazil this happens all the time. I even witnessed this kind of thing first hand last year in Bahia. Here's the deal though.. If the driver of the car is at fault, nearby motorbikers will take note of the plate but they don't report it to the authorities. They have their own vigilante justice system. So a few weeks later someone will pay the the owner of the car a visit and he will be.......:(

That's extra incentive for drivers in Brazil to be careful around motorcycles.
