As you can see in the picture, there are 2 pink tubes (highlighted in yellow) that are attatched to nothing. A third seems to be burnt about 1cm from the connecting carb nozzle and a fourth runs from another carb nozzle into the air filter. This is how it was shipped to me (from bikeberry.com)

How do I properly assemble the carburetor?

Thank you for your help!

Additionally, There are 2 cables coming out of the top of my carb. One leads to the throttle like any ordinary carb and the other has some kind of wire tensioner on the end. It has the text "Alloy Shifter" on the side, and the black knob increases the tension on the cable.

1. What do I connect this to?

2. What is the purpose of this extra cable?

Thank you for your help!

It's a remote choke (technically an enrichment circuit) tensioning the cable opens up an additional fuel port to enrich the mix for cold starts, whereas the typical "choke" on like the older NT carbys works by closing off the air supply - two different ways to reach similar end results...

I put mine up on the handlebar stem for quick & easy access as I use it to shut my engine down as I've not bothered w/a kill switch ;)
