Why can't I seem to get my clutch to disengage. I got it as tight as it can go I think and it still moves the piston. What do i do now?

Heritage Softail Classic eh?

If your engine is brand new, the grease that the Chinese use between the clutch hub and the ring gear that holds the friction pads is known to turn solid, like a glue almost, during the time that the kit sits on a shelf somewhere waiting to be sold and installed.

You may very well need to remove the clutch outer pressure plate and loosen up the hub from the ring gear.

Every once in a while you can do this by rocking the bike back and forth while sitting on it with the clutch lever pulled in. Also consider that if this is in fact the problem, the grease that the little ball bearings in there rely on is not really grease anymore.
