Okay, it's not exactly a BTR, but the 1916 Indian Model K was a 2 stroke, so at least this will be able to stay a 2 stroke build.

This will probably take me a while, so don't be too disappointed if it comes along slowly.
I want to take my time and make something nice out of it. :)

I just got my Worksman frame in today for the build. It will be getting a Motobecane engine instead of a CG.

The Motobecane engine will look good in it, and have a bit more of an authentic look.

You can see that it will take a bit of frame work to get it in there. It's a little tight right now! :)

I won't be putting a big drop loop in it since the original doesn't have one, and it doesn't need that much clearance.

In fact, the original 1916 Indian doesn't have any support under the engine!

Very cool bike, Cobrafreak posted this bike a while back. I have a Victa 160cc 2 stroke that looks almost identical.

I like the motor you've chosen and look forward to seeing what you come up with

Tnx for posting that model K pic, drc... I had not seen that model before.
Lots of interesting old designs, and especially front suspension forks!

You are off to a great start now!
