I didn't really pay attention to my first kit I purchased from BikeBerry, but it came with a 2 stroke exhaust. I just purchased another kit from BicycleEngines.com, and it comes with the stock exhaust box. So I have two questions. Does the 2 stroke exhaust work with this engine, or does it restrict it more than the available 4 stroke exhaust? Secondly, the stock exhaust box, is it adequate or should the 4 stroke exhaust be put on immediately?

I hope you got the 4G from BE and not the Stage III

The stock 2 stroke exhaust is pretty much the same as the 4 stroke
exhaust and both of them are restrictive but not as bad as the box
muffler.

Easiest, good looking and free flowing exhaust for the 50 cc HS is to
cut off a 2 stroke exhaust making a 1 1/2" stub that you clamp flexible
exhaust tubing on with a Briggs muffler clamped on the end.
