I'm new to the motorbike hype and decided that it's time to build one. I'm looking for a good quality kit for under $200. Preferably a two stroke motor and 80/66cc is somewhat of a requirement. I've heard the mixed opinions of Grubee kits and "Honda this" and "Honda that". I'm open to any recommendations that are in my price range.

Thanks,
Rob

Also, I'm thinking of using a Diamondback Kalamar Hybrid bike. Should I use a MTB or would this be fine?

The general consensus around here is that ALL the Chinese engines are a crap-shoot. None of them should be used right out of the box.

I would say to get the cheapest one you can find, and put the money that you save into upgrading it.

From the pictures that I saw of the Diamondback Kalamar Hybrid bike, I would say that you'd have a hard time fitting the engine in that frame.

Print out this template to see if it will fit your frame
