I will take C02 over a pump anyday. When I first started racing mtn. bikes back in the 80's, all I ever used was co2 and the reasons I did? More compact, much quicker inflation, no energy wasted on pumping like a fool just to get 30psi to name a few. 12 or 16gm cartridges will fill a tire fat.....32gm with a proper valve (inflater) can be used more than once.

A small pump is a good thing to carry, but co2 has never let me down.

So it works worth a flip? I haven't bought one due to the fact that I know most Walmart stuff sucks. lol
Sorry DD I missed your post.

The only thing you need to flip is the lever for the valve steam.

My last Bell pump lasted me 8 years so I had no reservations buying another one.

CO2 inflators are great, cheap, compact, easy to store and carry and they will inflate a tire in a heart beat, CO2 is more temp sensitive than compressed air but not enough to hurt a thing in my experience, but honestly at the end of the day is all about individual preference, id just rather push a button than have to work a pump...lol!
