i checked it out and to ship it to washigton they want $13.28 for expidited and $18.18 for standard shippoing. that is rediculous for a $10.00 bottle that realkly would not cost more than $4-5 to ship even being generous. I dont know if it would be cheaper to where your at, but have you maby checked out Amazon?

oil, 9.99 + S&H,7.80 = 17.79 total (for me), which is less that the prices that I found on Amazon.
I guess it depends upon where you live to determine if it's a good deal or not.

rohmell, they sell it at tractor supply. in 1.8oz packets labeled as arnold 1. I live in rochester. I can send you some. 1.8oz packet to 1 gallon of fuel = 72:1. If been using it for awhile and love it. Let me know.

i pay 7.99 locally.

one thing to consider, is how much does your other oil cost? i remember someone complaining that it was more expensive than walmart oil or something, but at 100:1, it actually comes out much cheaper.

maybe you can find someone here, closer to you that can get it and ship it to you cheaper? i would, but probably wouldn't be any less coming from california...

I work on a farm and what we run through our weedeaters is opti 2 pre mix packets (add one packet to 2 1/2 gallons) so I asked my boss if I could have some for my bike and he gave me a whole box of em. Let's just hope he doesn't take it out of my paycheck :)

i picked mine up @ a lawn mower shop.
call all your local lawn places. i don't care where you live there are tons of those places. somebody would carry it. my place carries it almost exclusively.

if you haven't already, contact opti direct and ask them for a dealer in your area. that's how i found my place. they were really happy to help. probably talked to brad for over an hour, 'cause i was worried about running 100:1.

now, i'll never use anything else.

I contacted Opti directly and the closest distributor is 120 miles away.
It would appear that the only reasonable way for me to get the stuff is mail order.

Rohm become a dealer, seems you'd have a huge territory........these new tanakas recommend 50:1 on breakin and after. Would you guys advise sticking to that ratio?

Is this a good price for a 12oz bottle of Opti-2?
I want to try Opti-2 but there are no distributors in my area, my only choice is mail order.

12 OZ OPTI-2 2 CYCLE ENGINE OIL LUBRICANT 21224 | eBay

It says to mix 12 oz to 10 gal of gas,(1 gal=128 oz), so (128*10)=1280 oz of gas/12 oz of oil = a ratio of 106.6:1
JMO.....buy local! No shipping costs. That deal would've cost me $23.19, or $1.93/oz.

I just bought four liters of Opti-2 for $90.00 on my way to Costco, so there's no travel cost. After converting metrics, this amounts to less than $.67/oz. This is three times less than ebay's price. At the rate I'm using it to commute to work, this jug will last me 4 years, 8 months and 2 weeks. The oil I'm using now should last me a couple months.dance1
