A friend sent me this picture, but no other information. Does anyone know what this is?

A little google research reveals it to be a 1901 Indian Motocycle, no R. 3 were apparently made in 1901, the first year Indian was in business.

To tell you the truth I like my China Girl better.

It is kind of interesting how little anything has changed in motor bicycles in 110 years.

Looks like it might have had 1.75 hp. I think my bike can take it.

well essentially all we do is use updated parts on the original principle of 110 yr old tech , I would like to see a mechanical fuel injection , that would be something a lil newer ! lol
