Even if it was brand new, it's really worth about 250.00
I got a "low mileage unit" from a 84 year old guy who only "rode it through the trails in the woods once in awhile" for 75.00 and it was in the original box with all paperwork from 1979.
They will go from slower than you can balance easily to about 20 mph. The are fairly quiet and smooth. Tanaka power, 23cc. I never had any problems with mine, but there are a few check balls/pump/gasket issues that can arise on older or un-run units.
Akward for some to operate since you have to "throw the clutch out" like an old tractor, and they have a lawn mower type throttle.
There is a rabid following for a few select people, and there is one guy in Texas who wants you to buy into his company via a 25.00 "Info Package" before you can get any parts from him! Parts or their alternatives are available.
