I have been using this forum like the library for a while and now I need to make my contributions.

I have a cruiser style bicycle made by specialized that I have had motorized for about a year now. Chinese engine kit.

My mods have been done over this past year. They are:

8mm spiral core Accel spark plug wire.

Champion e3 plug

notched and beveled piston.

cleaned out all casting fins on intake and transfers

exhaust header is electrical conduit blowing into a pipe made for a moped that I got on Ebay with shipping for $33.00

Run premium octane with a special blend of G-oil, Castor oil ,marvel oil, and thulene, naptha, xylene.

laid back seat post

roller bearing chain tensioner.

Gas cap is a GM power steering pump cap.

Still run stock gear ratio of 44-10.

Rear wheel is a freewheel with 11 guage spokes.

Changed my tubes to slime tubes and haven't had a flat since.

No speedo, I lost it months ago, But I have no problems with traffic.

Welcome to the forum. The Specialized Shark is a great looking cruiser and motorbike.

I had been looking for a gas cap that vented through a small hose, like a motocross bike (instead of around the bottom of the cap and onto the top of the tank). Maybe I can make one with a GM ps cap.
