Welcome Pat this is a very old inactive thread, but I'll answer your question. Ebay search for 1 1/8" inch headset reducer 'bout $20. I'd say. This will allow you to run a 1" fork in a 1 & 1/8" frame, using the 1" bearing headset and 1" springer fork.
