I have an old Western Flyer cruiser frame that I am trying to resurrect into a new project but as always I've run into a glitch with a non-standard item. As near as I can tell the inside diameter of the seat tube is 20mm which puts it just slightly over 3/4". As far as I can tell the smallest seat post manufactured is 13/16". So is there some supplier out there that has 3/4" seat posts that I have been unable to find, or should I just buy some 3/4" o.d. steel tube and cut it to length? Anybody else ever tun into this?

You could probably just make your own. It will take a while to find a supplier and it probably will not be cheap.
My Western Flyer dates to 1976, so there are no unusually sized parts on it.
