My head is spinning!!!! I'm looking at the different sites displayed on the right and left borders and wow.. Right now i'm running a SHA Dellarto clone, but honestly i think i can do better. (love to tinker) i was on the JNMotors.com site and was considering switching to a Walbro or Mikuni carb setup. Wanted to get your thoughts on which is best for performance. I know the Walbro is more for the reed valve setup and the Mikuni is straight bolt on and tune up and go.. Walbro setup is a little more expensive but i heard Mikuni is the crème de la crème for carbs for these bikes

@CurtisFox thanks for the information, the Walbro is a really nice carb, but I have no experience with it at all.. Guess its time to do some homework.

Cheapest Mikuni I could find. Mine came with a #95 main. I highly recommend it for your first entry level Mikuni.

I got tired of popping 29er spokes so I went 26 Mag Wheel. SR bottom worked jug with 3rd transfer port reed and windowed piston. 26 tooth compression reading 170 psi (tested) 2 1/2 oz per gal of Opti2 and 1 oz Turbo108 octane boost.

Once tuned oh boy, am hitting hi 50's!!!

Yes in Florida no head wind night time. Hi 50's was at WOT but now I have her at 3/4, need longer cable. Yesterday I hit 52 for about 2 miles through light traffic, she vibrates too much at high speeds. I'm 234 lbs btw.

Edit: Also I need 2 oversized bolts for the reed manifold, 2 are stripped so I know I'm not totally sealed.

Edit:I don't know how accurate this is.
