I am going to start planning my OCC build, but I was hoping you guys could clarify some parts I should buy prior.

I dont know much about barry's mounts but I have seen them talked about a lot on here. I figured this would work with the expansion chamber.

What size of sprocket is suggested for the OCC's? Is it unrealistic to use a 36? where I live and will travel has almost no hills or inclines. Someone mentioned a "Sprocket adapter" but I havent came across one.

What is suggest for the brakes? Is there room on the from and back for a disc break?

If anyone else has tips for an occ build, I would be more than happy to hear them!

I build the coolest OCC Motorized schwinn stingrays on the planet...

Check it out: http://www.pedalchopper.com/

The link you are looking at is actually frank [not barry] and that kit is for the mod pipe - does not go with the picture.... For that price he only sends you front part of pipe and you have to weld on your stock muffler...

This is the kit you want:http://www.ebay.com/itm/Schwinn-OCC...292?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a18fe67a4

You must use this mount and i strongly suggest this pipe for your build... Also, I strongly recommend Grubee GT5(A) if you can get it from gas bike...

Any other technical assistance let me know... email me direct at [email protected] - Jim

you build the coolest occ's on the planet?
hmmm, other than the bigger rear wheel, yours looks completely kit stock.
I think i have you beat in the "coolest" category. (just my opinion) :)

wow that engine mount is now up to $83.00?
I bought the exact same mount about 2 years ago for $39.00 from the same seller.
but is he selling the mount and an exhaust pipe for $83.00? if so, that's a pretty good deal because making a cool looking and sounding exhaust for an occ can be a pain in the butt
I just bought the mount for $39.00, I made my exhaust.

Thanks for input... You may like my HOT ROD I am working on... Painted engine flat red and bought some billet covers from sick bikes and a manic mechanis head... Looks neat... Installed on OCC Stealth - but removed all decals. So all flat black with 24 inch whitewall (in Back) using spray rubber then, XL fork with 20inch x 3 inch (whitewall) front wheel... I will forward to you when i get it done in a few weeks - Jim

They both look good to me. They are both unique. It's all just a matter of taste. Personally I DON'T like ape hangers but many people do. I love the tank on the Dragray's and I like the seat better on pedalchopper's and love the front disk brakes too. If I had to choose it wouldn't be that easy, I wouldn't knock either of them.
