Does anyone have any ideas on how you could set up a way to charge a phone and/or other small electronics while motorbiking?

The only idea I could come up with involves an extra long extension cord for the device's charger, with a cigarette lighter plug at the far end - plugged into a friend's car who's pacing you. Given time, I may be able to concoct something better though.

i've seen some how-to's on charging stuff with a dyno-hub (front hub with a dynamo in it for running lights, etc...) but first you'll need to build a wheel with a dynohub in it. the Sturmey Archer XL-FDD is a great choice.

I MOVED THIS SO I DON'T USURP THE THREAD:
THANX

I will NOT go gently into that good night!
What about taking the existing electrical system and adding a HT-style low voltage coil at the central point of the large c-shaped bracket. (I have tested the Mighty Wonderful 6V gen's... on a HT they work)

I'm having trouble posting pic's. The ignition sys is in the middle of this page.
