hey guys like i mentioned above ive built myself a great little rat bike from an engine salvaged from a nature strip and im realy desperate to find out what it is and how many cc because ther are no markings on it apart from a J.H.Y written on the side off the gearbox i had down the mower shop years ago when found it and said its 49 cc and most likely is a cateye engine and lookin at parts here http://stores.ebay.com.au/Mini-Bike...d=825269779&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1513&_pgn=2

it is very much like the cateye xi1 x6 x7 motor
there piston is 44mm so i bought some 44mm rings striped my motor down and was suprised to find that my piston is 32mm but it may have an extra long stroke to bring it to 49cc
now the motor is definatly off a pocket bike or gas scooter from the late
"90"s back when they first came out and got popular
i have included some pics to aid id i hope someone knows what it is

all i need is a set of rings for it i took it for an hour long at full WOT the hole way and lost a few pounds comp after the ride i think cause ive got no cooling covers on it and so hard so long the heat must have worn em down a bit but i was 50kph out of her now i only get 35kph but still rides alright ave been rideing it everywhere for nearly a year now its a fantastic little motor that will just not say die but i i want to do is just change the rings get a bit of top speed back but i cant id motor

here is short vid aswell not much efort went into it but you can see my rat scooter any way craps over most doogy bodge jobs ive seen
