Went out for a ride and my cup of joe this morning, and while sitting outside enjoying it
This old man comes up to me and starts moaning about my bike and how dangerous
It is, and how responsible their generation was and how much my generation just wanted
Instant gratification (mind you I’m in my fifties) and how reckless they are coming up with some
Dangerous contraption like these bikes, just to get around the laws, now at this point I stop
Chuckling and proceed with outright laughter, when he heard this he got really steamed
And wanted to know (just what are you laughing about, this is serious!!!)
Well I said it seems that I remember a more irresponsible generation coming up
With something called a Whizzer, now who’s generation came up with that?

Now I’ve heard of pocket rockets but it’s not that often I see someone
Who looks like they had a rocket in their pocket ROFLMAO
But the way he scuttled off muttering da** kid like to smack you in the head.
It was just to funny.
And yes I know sometimes I can be mean, just depends on the IDI** I’m dealing
with.

So that’s my story for today and I’m sticking to it (Roaring with laughter!!!)
Have a great ride

He probably has some life experiences that led him on to this rant . But I'll bet he had some interesting stories of his own too . Or maybe he had too much coffee that morning.
HA HA HA HA HA HA He probably does have some good stories
but I doubt if I'll ever hear them, and thanks for the laugh

I suppose he don't want poor people or those who've had the childhood dream and used cardboard and clothes pins as a motor to have a motor(bi)cycle.

Oh well, I guess he will never ride one!
Tough tatties to him then!

The old guy was worried about OUR bikes being dangerous??? What about the old board trackers? Racing bikes of the early teens and roaring twenties had: no brakes! no clutch! (of course, no transmission) the throttle was actually a spark advance/retard; they raced flat-out and wide-open! with minimal safety gear! and those bikes ran at nearly (or slightly over) a hundred miles per hour! Now who sounds crazy?

Yeah, I think he just needed to vent about something.
