Simplicity seems to impress me more than complexity, so I like it to.
Looks like a good motor bike for wet climates (once a rear fender is mounted) since the motor is mounted high, away from road spray. A chain guard is needed too.

the main thing to find is the free-wheel pedal crank assembly,i've seen the kits but don't remember just the pedal crank set up

You also gotta be pretty tall to be able to get that seat post high enough for that engine. But then again you can also start with a smaller bike.
Acually it looks like a lower frame mybe even a 24" wheel. The more I look at it,it look like a Pocket bike motor with the gear box faceing forward. The tank mounted on the motor. With the engine set back like that it would give a more room. Still need long legs
