New here in MN

Hello all,

I have been watching a growing number of motorized bikes in and around the Minneapolis area and have wanted to build my own for a few years. Does anyone out there know where to purchase these kits around town besides the scammers I have seen on craigslist trying to sell the kits for two to three times more then purchasing them from an online vendor. Do bike shops sell them or a motorcycle shop? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

I got mine from zoombicycles, but they are "only" sold in Canada, a lot of people here have been getting them off ebay.

Maybe someone can recommend an ebay vendor for you.

Welcome to the forum. But, what's a "streetrodder"?

You might want to check with some of the vendors you see advertising here on the forum. They might not be local to you but they all have good reputations for customer service and after sale support. That can be a good thing.

It will be up to you to decide, 2 stroke or 4 but take some time, do some searching and reading here and it might help point you in the direction you need to go.

Good luck with whatever you decide to build and I can tell you that these funny little bikes are as much fun, or more, than a streetrod and a whole lot cheaper to build.
