once I get some time, I plan on doing an electric bike build, but a little more unique I think. I am currently looking at using the motor out of a honda insight. its about ~20 lbs (I think), 3 inches thick, 13hp, 26-58 ft-lbs (depending on which site you check), and using 100v. It seems a little crazy but I think its doable. any thoughts? also, anyone know where I could find a 100v battery to purchase so I dont have to build one?
how nuts am I? could it even work?
