I'm trying to put a front disc brake on my Micargi Rover GT which has a triple tree fork with mounting tabs for disc brakes. I bought a tektro setup off amazon but it doesn't fit when i mount it. The caliper is too big and hits the wheel which prevents it from spinning so I'm returning it. Any suggestions or kits that work for this fork

Did you try the Avid BB-7 disc setup? The caliper is very small and is made to fit tight space installations. The Avids are not the cheapest brakes but they do the job.

Does your front hub have provisions for mounting the rotor? If so then I'd check with a Micargi dealer to see what brakes your bike was designed for.

Venice Motorbikes sells caliper adaptors. You could also try to adapt a caliper bracket from a pocket rocket.
