I ordered a 48v800w controller and throttle from vpower. The battery wont fit in the center of the frame and the controller wont fit in the tank so scratch plan a.

Here it is with the controller and everything is working now. Still a few loose ends to wrap up but 99% done.

The bike came out clean and looks like you can ride it for miles. What size battery did you get for it?
48v20ah. The on off switch already quit working so I had to bypass it. I try to take it easy on the throttle now I'm not sure if this battery can handle it. I think this controller pulls around 30 amps at max.
My 48v 20ah LifePo4 battery doesn't have an on/off switch either. I just plug in my battery and go. I use to have it on my full suspension bike that I converted back to a gasser. Now I use it on my beach cruiser. I strap it down on my rear rack and its been my long distance bike for those 60+ mile rides.

Thanks. Yeah it was too big to hide the controller in the tank but at least I can hide the extra wires and connectors in there. I strapped it on with cable ties.
