So i was cruising ebay and found some things i havent seen on here or any other website for that matter.

Have no idea what this does, possibly creates a lean condition by causing an air leak?? Advertized as a gas engine booster.

A chain tensioner i have not yet seen. Looks heavy duty.

High compression racing head i have not yet seen.

Racing intake manifold pleneum booster. I bought this. Wanted to get a boost bottle set up but i agreed with the idea that there was no way that the pulse could travel up a hose and into the bottle. Now this on the other hand makes sense. A chamber right of of the jug. Besides it looks just plain bad ass. Sorry its such a long post but figured id do the leg work for ya. If anyone has experience with these products let me know!

Intake manifold is made by a member here also. I'll probably get his wrong but I think he goes by CRmachineman (sorry if I botched that Fred). I have the manifold and like the performance. And it does look badass.

Im so glad to see that you have the rt carb mounted to it, I just bought both then read somewhere that the intake only fit the cns carb diametre. Did you have any problems mounting the two harold? Any of you two had any experience with that first product? It seems really strange to me and the description on e bay sucks.

Only issues were clearance to the frame and jug. I took some liberties and shortened the carb mount tube by about .375" and then no more issues. Well, sort of. I also needed to notch the bracket for the battery box. The clearance to the jug was easily fixed by removing the cast fin material with a Dremel. I'm still learning about the carburetors. The engine runs really smooth through the mid range now and idles really nice where it did not with the NT and standard intake that was on it prior. There's a raspy hesitation at WOT that I need to address but I suspect it may have more to do with the exhaust leak between the SBP expansion chamber and flange.

yeah i figured id have to remove some of the fin material as well. What type of sealant did you use between the jug and the manifold? Did you portmatch the manifold to the jug or was there already enough clearance to let the intake port breathe freely? Thanks for your input.

Nothing as far as sealant other than the gasket which I trimmed to match the port. Also took a little time to de-burr the screw holes on the cover plate to be sure the screw heads seated flat and sanded the mounting surface on the jug by putting some 600 grit paper on a flat plate then sanding until the surface had nice even shine. I did Dremel out the ports a little but mostly to remove casting flash, nothing drastic. The surfaces on the intake are very flat and match up well enough that they seem to seal on their own without any additional goop. I'll keep that option in my hip pocket in case sealing the exhaust leak doesn't take care of the stuttering at WOT.
