Ok, so I was riding my bike other other day and it would not rev all the way out. Parked it next day changed the plug, no good. Cleaned the carb, no good. I was messing with it for a while.....

Checked the compression with my finger, bad. Felt air pushing out the side of the head.

Took it off to find one gasket blown. I needed to ride it somewhere so I installed it with one head gasket. (normally two)

Ran great.

I am somewhat worried about running one head gasket.

I have since lapped the head, but not the cylinder. Should have done it from the start.

Also I am nervious about the studs stripping out. I just make it tight, no torque wrench with me.

Any thoughts on the one head gasket? I'm thinking about making one out of copper and upgrading the studs and nuts.
