Hey, noob question here. When I'm slowing down, especially uphill, my motor will sputter and die. I can pull the clutch lever, and (now that i've tightened the idle screw) it will continue running. Is that normal, or should I be able to slow down and not have the motor die?
Thanks!

Remember this is a direct drive friction clutch. When you slow down to an idle without pulling the clutch in, the motor will attempt to fight the brakes (or hill) until it dies out. Yours may have been doing this prematurely because the idle was too low as well. You could look at centrifugal bolt on clutches from vendors for about $30.
