Does anyone know if there are any rear wheels assembled with the sprocket available to the general public.....for the life of me I simply can't get the sprocket to sit right....there's always some wobble on them.....and it's piss*ng me off !....most of my builds have done well but there is always that slight wobble....and I'm tired of the eventual chain master link busting or the tensioner messing up due to this....HELP !

Thanks,
Salty.shft.

You can get a sprocket adapter from manic mechanic that clamps to the wheel and the sprocket screws to that with allen screws.

I considered that but will need a straight hub to do so and most of the bikes I build don't have them.....I just want to be able to slap a wheel assembly on the back and go from there ....

I just order the one with the brake on it. I almost killed myself .bf. on my cruiser when the rear spoke ring detached from the rear hub while I was ridinig. It looks to be a solid piece. I will let you folks know when I get it on and ride it for a bit.

Origiannly I was going to go with the Sick Bike's Shift Kit, but I just bought another new cruiser and it was going to be to much of a hassel (and alot more expensive) to convert the cruiser so that I could actually use the shift kit on it. Plus I have no gears.

Hi,

Here is a wheel that is cnc'd, and will be sold assembled.

Features:
- Made in USA
- 20+ Year Old Company
- Heavy Duty 12 gauge spokes

The purchase is in 2 parts:
a. The wheelset - rim, spokes, and LABOR to assemble (with cnc'd custom hub)
b. custom cnc'd hub

Here is the links:

I am not sure how the drive side sprocket works in relation to your particular build.

You would have to talk to this vendor about it to see if this would work with your bike.

Good Luck!

:)

add:

Here is another option:

2 purchases:
a. wheel and sprocket adapter
b. sprocket

Best of Luck to you, and please let me/ the forum know what you chose and how it worked out for you.

:)

I took the short bus... duhhh... the opening thread was on 2010...a little bit late to the party...I just saw a "new post" within the thread, and then replied...
Well I hope some newbies read this post a learned something from it.
