I have searched and did not see a post or sticky pertaining to the adjusting of the Huasheng's valves. I would like to know what to do to them and how to do it as I have no experience with this. What tools are needed? Can someone please chime in on this, maybe it would make a good sticky. I am hearing some noise and I believe its the valves, not sure though. Sound like a metallic chattering noise. Thanks for any help.

always adjust valves when cold.

The settings on the HS motor are

Intake .00314" to .00393" or a very tight .004"

Exhaust .00433" to .00512" or a very tight .005"

If set to tight or too loose it will subtract power & RPM from the motor.

Q. from EZM posted this and it is what I go by.

Any one? I know someone has done this before.
you need a philips screw driver or socket to remove the valve cover, a feeler gauge for the valve clearance and 2 small wrenches for the lock nuts on the valves.Take cover off looosen nuts by valves then get the correct clearance and tighten nuts.I'm not the best at axplaining but you will get it!
