I really like the belt to chain set up you have, but I would be concerned about oil on an angled motor.

I was told that the driver clutch from a torque converter and a centrifugal clutch were the same.why are you using the driven pulley from a torque converter with a cent clutch why not just a regular pulley it would be narrower and do the same thing since you don't have the driver clutch for the torque converter
That is a great thought, John. Really, with some sort of locking clutch handle sort of deal or the like! I am gonna try this! Thanks!If you put a lever controlled belt tensioner between the two pulleys you could have multiple speeds cuz of the spring loaded pulley!!!
